Jacques Nsengiyumva, Environmental Standards & Regulations Officer, Rwanda Environment Management Authority
Jacques NSENGIYUMVA is a civil servant charge of Environmental Standards & Regulations at the Rwanda Environment Management Authority department of Environment Pollution & Regulation Control. He is also a Guest Assistant Lecturer of Environmental Hazards & Mitigation at INILAK. He helps not only in mainstreaming environmental sanitation in the community, but also in drafting environmental standards, monitoring compliance, & enforcing environmental standards & regulations across different sectors of development. He is now a Community Solutions Program Fellow that hopes to learn about effective & efficient environmental techniques that will help to solve sanitation problems in rural areas of his community. Upon completion of the fellowship, he plans to domesticate learnt techniques in hotspot areas (schools & hospitals) of Eastern Province.
